Luyện nghe bài hát Old Doc Brown

He was just an old country
In a country town
Fame and fortune had him by
we never saw him frown

As day by day in his way
serve us one and all
Many a forgot to pay
Although Doc's fees were

Though he needed his dimes and there
Times that receive a fee
He'd pass it some poor soul
That needed it worse he

He had to his furniture
Couldn't pay his rent
So to a dusty room over a livery
Doc Brown and his satchel

And on the hitchin' post at the kerb
To his wares
He nailed a little that read
"Doc has moved upstairs"

And one day he answer
When they knocked his door
Old Doc was layin' down
But his was no more

found him there in that old black suit
On his face was a of content
But all the money they could on him
Was a quarter and a cent

So opened up his ledger
And what they saw gave their a pull
Beside debtor's name old Doc
Had write words, "Paid in full"

Old Doc had
A funeral fine for a king
a ghastly joke our town was broke
And no one give a thing

'Cept Jones an
He did mighty
an old iron casket
He had never able to sell

And the funeral
It wasn't for grace and pomp and the style
But those loads of mourners
They stretched out for more than a

We wanted to give him a
We kinda we owed him one
he made our town a better place
For all the he'd done

We pulled up that old post
Where Doc had nailed a
We'd it white and to all of us
It certainly did fine

Now the and the snows
Have washed away our white of paint
There nothin' left but Doc's own sign
And that's gettin' pretty

But you can still see old hitchin' post
As if in answer to our
Mutually tellin' the wide world
Doc has moved upstairs
